The Study On Wang Zhi And His Poetry And Prose

Wang zhi is a famous scholar in the turn of two Song Dynasty, who isknowledgeable and with very abundant collection of books. Wang zhi waspraised highly by his contemporary scholars, such as Chao Shuozhi, Li Zhiyiand Lu You. Wang Zhi wrote many books, however, most of them missedduring the Spreading process. There are extant writings as much as five. Atpresent academic circles mainly concentrate upon Si Liu Hua, his poetry andprose have not been systematically studied yet.The paper is divided into five parts. The first part is an introduction tointroduce purpose and meaning of the topic, and current academic research onWang Zhi’s case. The second part is the research on Life and Writings ofWang Zhi, combing his life resume, in order to make a preliminary outline ofWang wholly. He thinks that we should conduct his birth date range,pseudo-books and other issues in order to correct the misrepresentation thatscholars have followed. The third part is the inspection of his literary ideas,refine and summarize the main aspects of his poetry and parallel prosethinking. Wang Zhi pay attention to real emotion, focusing on the impact oflife experiences for poets. On the creation of poetic quality or flavour, headvocated that we should make clean sweep on the poetic predecessors’legacy; On the parallel prose writing, with particular emphasis on allusions, heproposed some requirements, such as selecting the appropriate stuff, meetingthe context, relatively obscure and popular, as well as highlighting theappropriate shades of opinion,"meant to help send" and so on. The fourth partis the study of Wang Zhi’s poetry and article creation. It analysis his poetry’sideological nature, intrinsic and artistic features, and included his parallelprose, essays, and historical notes in the study, focus on Wang Zhi’s Mo Ji andexisting single article for a detailed study. His poetry almost reflects thethought tendency of "light and inaction". Wang Zhi’s landscape and lyrics poems have higher achievement, in these poems, the scenery statements arefresh and bright, the statements that express feeling are very moving. Thefeature of his poetry is the gorgeous words, it’s knowledgeable and logical, etc.The fifth part is the conclusion of Wang Zhi overall comments and it alsodiscussed his impact of his son Wang Mingqing.This paper argues that such a systematic study of a well-known scholarWang Zhi, we have some positive significance for further examination of theoverall style of the early Southern Song Dynasty poem literary circles.
