Dance, a vibrant human behavior which produced prior to the human language; art form of life which essentially pay attention to the emotion; a way of expression which we use to express our most sensitive, most real, and most powerful body action, has been accompanied by human walk from long history in the 21 st century. The research about dance theory, however, began very late than the study of the theory of the relative to other arts. It is very difficult to conduct the research about the theory and also be misunderstood by others during the researching process due to the particularity of dance of perceptual materials. American famous contemporary art theorist Susanne Langer, who studied the beauty and the beauty of law, explores the essence of dancing art through hard work.Langer formed her unique dance theory system gradually based on the reality of modern dance practice. In her opinion, dance is a kind of “virtual force”, it expresses the performance of common human emotion, which has the characteristics of dynamic, space and time, and rhythm. Langer dance theory has an important influence on development of post-modern dance. Her dancing theory in post modern era has three extensions, first of all, the long emphasis on emotion to Merce Cuninghan of the emotional has changed; Secondly, the dynamic and rhythmic to post-modern dance has been shifted to the dance of the irregular, and no center situation. Once again, by the life dance to post-modern dance attaches great importance to the individual self. Finally, from the shape of space and time to post-modern dance breaks the time and space, and even breaks the stage boundaries.
