Research On The Teaching Order Of Punctuation In Teaching Chinese As A Foreign Language

Based on the new edition of Usage, Boya Chinese and linguistic data in writings of foreign students as study cases, by full applicat ion of comparison, statistics and data analysis, data studies and expl oratory study, with HSK Grading Standards and Grammar Outline as r eference, also with my own experience, the thesis will put forward the teaching orders of punctuation character, and then summarize an d analyze the suggestions made by predecessor. I will put forward s ome practical advice as well. This thesis contains five parts, with th e conclusion part.Part One : An introduction of the significance, research method s and current status of this study, and the reasons why I choose thi s research topic.Part Two: The general introduction of punctuation character, thus the definition, functions, forms and positions of punctuation, and a specific introduction of flexible utility of punctuation.Part Three: A brief comparison between the 2011 edition and t he 1995 edition of Use of Punctuation Marks. By comparison, majo r changes will be mentioned, and there is a discussion of the signif icance of teaching punctuation.Part Four: The formation of punctuation teaching order. By obse rving the practical usage of Boya Chinese and the linguistic data in writings of foreign students, together with the content of Part two, this part will build up a proper order for punctuation teaching.Part Five: A general exploration towards punctuation teaching in the lessons of Chinese as a foreign language on basis of predecesso r’s study result, together with the conclusion of part three, this part will put forward some practical suggestion...
