The Research On Unearthed Wooden Lacquer Ware Of Chu’s Tombs In Anhui And Relevant Issues

In the existence of more than 800 years, no matter in economy, thought or art, Chu State have made brilliant achievements, and formed a unique system in politics, what’s more, in the military, it also has a million soldiers, so was known as the Southern powers.The people of Chu state created the brilliant Chu culture through hard work, it is an important part of China’s ancient culture, and had a significant impact on China’s ancient culture, played a huge role in promoting the further integration of the people in ethnic groups in our ancient country. Lacquer culture is a typical representative of them.Chinese lacquer craft has a long history of several thousand years, it had made great development in Chunqiu period and Warring States.Not only has greatly increased in the number and type, but has innovation on fetal bone and technology, ornamentation, decoration, shape, etc. Are all practical and beautiful, lacquer products had been used in many aspects of social life. Among them, the lacquer ware of Chu state is undoubtedly a bright pearl.Currently, many place of Chu State have found a huge number and numerous species of lacquer ware of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, and many lacquer ware can be completely preserved, all of these provide valuable materials for today’s research on this period of lacquer ware:For the study of excavated lacquer ware, many scholars have done a lot of work in many ways, experienced several decades of development, the research work of the Chu culture has made great achievement. Research on unearthed wooden lacquer ware utensil of Chu tombs has an important significance for the study of technology history and cultural history at that time, it not only can make up for gaps and correct deficiencies of the historical data in a certain extent, but also has great effect on the research of later lacquer ware.Anhui as the beginning place of the study of Chu culture, is also the advanced capital location of the Chu State, so it is important for the research of Chu culture.Due to the number of unearthed wares and Chu state tombs in Anhui is not big, maybe, compared to Hunan, Hubei and Henan regions, and most tombs were excavated by ghouls, there’s no much academic research on unearthed wares and Chu state tombs in Anhui. But they have some unique regional characteristics, these are no doubt important and essential data to the research of Chu culture, especially the wooden lacquer ware of them. Therefore, the article tries to study the unearthed wooden lacquer ware of Chu tombs in Anhui, hope I can try my best to contribute to the research of this field.Firstly, this paper tries to introduce the related knowledge about the history of Chu State through reading the ancient books. Secondly, reference a large number of excavation reports about Chu State tombs, to search and list related data about wooden lacquer wares, then summarize the development state of Chu State tombs, Chu State tombs in Anhui, wooden lacquer wares of Chu State tombs and wooden lacquer wares of Chu State tombs in Anhui. Then analyze the characteristic of wooden lacquer wares of Chu State tombs in Anhui by listing types and classes of unearthed wares. Next, compare the Chu tombs in Anhui and Chu tomb, and sum up the characteristics and influence of Anhui unearthed wooden lacquer wares. At last, propose some personal thoughts and opinions through the analysis of today’s development status about lacquer wares and its technologies in South Korea and Japan.The first chapter is introduction. First, define the meanings of Chu State tomb and wooden lacquer ware, clear the objects of this article. Then analyze the discovery and research status of wooden lacquer wares in Chu State tombs.The second chapter is the research status of the Chu tombs and its unearthed wooden lacquer wares. First, explain the importance and necessity of the research on Anhui Chu tombs and its unearthed wooden lacquer wares by analyzing the position of Anhui in the history of Chu State.On the basis of this, analyze the tendency and products of current academic researches, point out the lack of researches about wares in Anhui Chu Tombs, in order to lead out the significance and research methods of the article.The third chapter is the summary of types, classes, characteristics and effects of unearthed wooden lacquer wares in Anhui Province. This part is the focus of this article.By arranging and analyzing the data of Anhui Chu tombs, divide the wooden lacquer wares into more than 20 kinds according to its different types, what’s more, list wares of each type, then describe their characteristics. At last is overall generalization.The fourth chapter is about the influence of the tombs in Han dynasty of Anhui and the analysis on the current situation and thinking of the the development of lacquer culture. Lacquer culture is always brilliant in the history of Chinese ancient civilization, and have created a excellent culture.But the development of lacquer culture in today’s society, in the width, depth and breadth, is not just as our wishes.This paper briefly analyzed the reason, and put forward some personal opinions and suggestions, in the hope that through various channels of efforts, to let Chinese ancient lacquer to revive and carry forward, which let the whole nation and even the world proud.
