Hua Zhen(1052-?),zi is An ren, hao is Yun xi ju shi. He was born in Kuai Ji(now ZheJiang ShaoXing).Hua Zhen’s poetry and article are both good,but were not be taken seriously. Literati evaluation of Hua Zhen’s potery is also quite fair, Lou Zhao in Song dynasty said that his writings were profound and abstruse and his words were refined and pretty, as well as, his poems were vigorous, graceful, free and natural. The catalogue of Siku Quanshu thank that he studied the poetics of Wang Anshi and his poems were full of talent and had smooth language and he could strike out a new line for himself during Yuanfeng and Yuanyou though he was not equal to Ou, Zeng, Su and Huang.
