A Comparative Study Of Absurdity Awareness With Kawakami Hiromi And Can Xue Works

In this world, the most difficult to change is a person’s belief, and the most easy to change is a person’s thinking.The absurd consciousness of literature come from western world to eastern world, inject new vitality to literature’s development of eastern world. Because of historical reasons, China and Japan accepted absurd literature in different time, so although China and Japan are East Asian countries, but the performance of the absurd consciousness in literature is also different, reflecting the different characteristics.In this paper, I selected the two writers of the absured literature to make the comparative study, is to explore the absurd consciousness in accepting and evolution process of each country, so as to find the law of literary development. This thesis firstly based on authtor’s own understanding of the absurd, defines the overall overview of the consciousness of absurdity. Summarizes the source and evolution of consciousness of absurdity, and then analysis of the absurd consciousness of Kawakami Hiromi and Can Xue two writers’ s works, to discuss the absurd consciousness in literary works reflect the way, and to discuss the aesthetic value of absurd consciousness. Secondly, this paper takes Kafka as the link and bridge, explore the specific influence of Western literature of the absurd to Kawakami Hiromi and Can Xue’s literary creation, origin of consciousness of absurdity discovered between China and Japan in literary works. Again, Kawakami Hiromi and can Xue as the object of the comparative study, summarizing the commonness and individuality of absurd consciousness of the two works. The common consists mainly of three aspects: First, the two are delicate strokes, attention to detail; second, fantastic two all pay attention to the performance of thought and action; third, two are used to love and family background. However the coin has two sides, behind the common macro will exist micro is different, the difference of absurd consciousness of Kawakami Hiromi and Can Xue’s works are mainly embodied in the following four aspects: First, different style tone; second, people’s mutation is different; third, the way of creation is different; fourth, the aesthetic ideas is different. It is precisely because the two between both the commonness and the existence of personality, so the comparative study of this two person is more meaningful, valuable. In addition, this paper is not simply a list of differences and similarities, but also cause according to the related literature on the similarities and differences between Kawakami Hiromi and Can Xue absurd produce works consciously conducted serious research, mainly from the growth experience, regional culture and the acceptability of the three aspects of the detailed analysis, from which summed up its internal rules, let us on the consciousness of absurdity the two’s work to have a more comprehensive observation and understanding. Finally, this paper also through the brief analysis of some absurd consciousness of contemporary literary works, clarifies the practical significance of absurd consciousness of literature, to enhance the value dimension of absurd consciousness, then let us from the enlightenment and harvest more, remind us that in the future when we attention on the absurd consciousness in literary works, can always adhere to the prudential and dialectical attitude.The absurd consciousness as an important ideological elements in literary works, we should put it as a literature based system construction, and seriously consider it can bring us what kind of aesthetic experience, inspire us to produce what kind of creative experience.
