As a strongly characteristic element in Chinese phrases,idioms are not only the representatives of the distinctive Chinese culture,but also the key points and difficulties in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Currently,the standards of teaching idioms are different.The arranging and consturing of idioms in textbooks are various,which is uneven.Therefore,the development of a unified, clear standard is imminent.It is not only providing the rules of arranging textbooks, but also standardizing the idioms teaching in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.This essay analyzes the resesrch status of idioms firstly,which were separately from two angles of the idioms itself and teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Then investigate the situation of indexed idioms through analyzing the existing domestic and abroad textbooks.Facing the existing problems in the idioms teaching,this essay proposes to formulate “the difficulty level table of idioms”.Considering of grammatical structure,grammatical syntax and semantic features,using these three aspects as parameters.Combined with Beijing Language and Culture University Corpus HSK dynamic composition,setting the score.In actual teaching, this difficulty level table would play the role of guiding in arranging textbooks, setting the focus of teaching and choosing apposite teaching methods.
