Like China, Japan is a big country of overseas immigrants. Even before Perry led the fleet arrive in Japan, a group of Japanese had began arriving overseas, opening the Japanese emigration history. Although the United States and Japan are across the sea, the vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean can not block the friendly exchanges between the two peoples. Due to the impact of black boat, American which was much stronger than Japan at that time started to receive the attention of the Japanese. Therefore, the Japanese began to set foot on the territory of the United States with hopes to begin a new life.Due to a large number of Japanese living in different cultures of the United States, the cultural differences between the two sides are constantly apparent with the passage of time. Although the Japanese government regarded the overseas Japanese as the "subjects" and managed, because the power between the United States and Japan is disparity, on the Japanese overseas diplomatic issues, Japan is often in a passive position. With the constant development of the Japan in the late Meiji Japan, in the case of domestic migrants facing discrimination and oppression, Japan and the United States began to question the overseas issue and did diplomatic representations.The article takes the Japanese immigrants to the United States and the reason of the immigration for the center. It focuses on three issues, namely the internal and external causes and the history of Japanese immigrants; the reason and the history of the anti-Japanese from the United States; the characteristics of the Japan-US diplomatic representations on this issue. In addition to the preamble, this article is specifically divided into the following four sections:The first part is the reason and the history of the Japanese immigrants to the United States. It mainly analyzes the internal and external reasons and the historical process for the US Immigration.The second part is America’s social status and immigrant environment, it mainly analyzes the social environment in the United States at that time and historical reasons to accept Japanese immigrants.The third part is the living conditions of the Japanese in the United States and the United States anti-Japanese movement, focusing on the analysis of the Japanese immigrants living in the US state and the reason of the American anti-Japanese campaign.The fourth part is the diplomatic negotiations for the US anti-Japanese launched by the Japanese government, this section mainly makes a simple comment on the Japanese diplomatic representations to the United States.
