This thesis, by using comprehensive research methods such as questionnaire survey, implicit association test, and statistical analysis, makes a correlative and comparative analysis of relations between the self-esteem level and oral second language learning strategies of Chinese and foreign learners. From the analysis we can find the state quo of the self-esteem level and oral second language learning strategies of Chinese and foreign learners and on this basis, explore strategies for oral second language teaching with a aim to provide a guidance and reference for secor language teaching.
