Southern Fukienese and Taiwanese have great consistency, the former is the origin of the latter. With the development of the language, these two dialects also produce some subtle differences. Southern Fukienese Dictionary and Taiwanese Common Word Dictionary reflect separately the latest phonetic appearance of Fujian Xiamen, Zhangzhou, Quanzhou and Taiwan areas like Tainan, Kaohsiung, Yilan, Taichung, Taipei, Lugang. This thesis processes the datas of Southern Fukienese and Taiwanese, and makes synchronic comparisons between Fujian and Taiwanese in order to analyze their similarities and differences. Through comparative analysis, we can find diachronic phonetic evolution clues from the synchronic differences, and observe the macroscopical phonetic evolution from microscopic phonetic comparison.
