The Study Of Usability Testing Methods Based On Eye Movement Data

User satisfaction is easily affected by the social desirability bias elt. And the subjective satisfaction through the traditional way can’t reflect the dynamic change in usability testing. We established the satisfaction of physiological mechanism referencing the theory of physiological and psychological feelings, Based on records of the eye tracker, pupil vertical dimensional data of31subjects were collected both before and after the test. The analysis reveals that the relation between the changes of subjects’ pupil size and the degrees of their satisfaction is of linear negative relation and the transformation equation of these two elements/variations is:S=-8.437P+4.576. Based on the equation, this essay also tries to establish the Pupil Size Change-Customer Satisfaction Model, thus to apply it to obtain Customer Satisfaction Curve in the experiment of Usability Evaluation. Based on this research,we developed the experimental support software.
