| The battle of Okinawa in1945is the end of world war ii the worst outbreak of the Pacific war. No matter is given priority to with U.S. Allies or the Japanese invested a lot of manpower and material resources and sacrifice. Most of previous studies of Okinawa has focused on the Allied strategy, Allied sacrifices, the Allied victory and its influence. This article attempts from Japan’s strategic intent, the pre-war military plan arrangement and the battle of the implementation of the new interpretation perspective such as the battle, reveals how the Japanese fascist holding at huge human cost, including okinawans, to stop the allied attack domestic and delay the time of complete failure. But in the end, the failure of the battle of Okinawa, particularly the United States of the atomic bomb, thoroughly smash the scheme of Japanese militarism, accelerated the process of Japan’s defeat.
