After Professor Liao Naixiong introduced Orff music (the former professor of ShanghaiConservatory of Music) into China in1980, there rapidly raised a hot wave of research, practiceand discussion across the country. In more than30years, the experts and professors of theconservatories or the professional training institutions for music, they propagate this theoreticalapproach actively, set up various research organizations of Orff music teaching and conductlocalization research on the advanced teaching idea. On the basis of accepting and absorbing,they make the new creation and development about it. During this period, many kindergartenteachers accepted the Orff music training, they began to contact and love this kind of musiceducation idea. Many kindergartens also broke the traditional music teaching and used Orffmusic education idea. At the same time, these kindergartens launched the reform anddevelopment over the kindergarten music education.With the progress and development of the society, parents are paying more and moreattention to the importance of early childhood education. The infants are keen on parent-childclass before the three years old. The kindergarten that I work began to organize parent-child classsince April of2011, and I was sent to the continuing education and teacher training college ofBeijing normal university. I participated the training course for parent-child educational guidanceteacher and got Chinese certificated parent-child educational guidance teacher. In the Septemberof2011, our kindergarten began to open the parent-child class for the infants and their parentsbefore they entered the kindergarten. From the original more than10children, two parent-childteachers to nowadays more than100children and seven parent-child teachers, the parent-childclasses experienced a difficult start to the prosperity and development of today. These classesprovides the chances for the children and their parents before entering the kindergarten, madethem adapt the life of kindergarten ahead. The parents could get the help and support for makingscientific family education at the same time. In these classes, we began to attempt the practice ofOrff music for the infants. After several years’ efforts, the teachers of the author’s research groupon the parent-child class developed the multiple intelligence courses for the parent-child.According to the actual situation of the kindergarten, we formed the parent-child educationcourses with the Orff music as the core. After the continuous practice and improvement, thekindergarten declared successfully the international standardization management of ISO9001certification and passed the acceptance activities. In the process of inspection, the developingprojects for the parent-child class curriculums got the creative efforts. Many projects got theapproval and praise of the specialist group, such as the parent-child educational coursesaccording to the actual situation of the kindergarten, the parent-child educational plans, theresponsibilities of the teachers, the important notes for the parents, and the management of theparent-child class parents. And these projects were all retained as templates. The education of theparent-child class is different from the education of the kindergarten. For the main participants ofthe parent-child class are infants and their parents. And this point just provides more convenientconditions for us to practice Orff music better. Through the music activities of the parent-childclass, the parents of the children could contact and know the influence of the music for thechildren. And these courses could provide guidance and help for parents and make them knowhow to choose what kind of music for children. Here is a detailed carding and reviewing on therecent years’ experience of our kindergarten carrying out the Orff music courses in the child stage and parent-child stage. And make the following summary about the author’s practicalexperience, hoping to provide reference to the preschool education teachers.
