Phonological Evolution Study Of Jincheng Dialect In Modern And Contemporary Period

Jincheng dialect belongs to Jin Han. At the beginning of the20th century,the famous Swedish Sinologist Bernhard Karlgren recorded and reflected the basic features and characteristics of Jincheng dialect, which provides valuable materials for us to study. In recent years, many researchers see the Jincheng dialect as a part of the Han Jin and study the Jincheng dialect to reflect the overall situation of the Han Jin.Few people study it from Jincheng dialect itself based on the diachronic evolution.I use the materials which recorded by Karlgren as the general situation of the Jincheng dialecat at the beginning of the20th century. Then,I use the phonetic materials of the Jincheng dialect annals as the general situation of the local pronunciation in the middle of the last century.At the same time,I surveyed several old people who have70years old to verify the Jincheng dialect annals. Also, I studied the pronunciation of the local partners who are about20years old. Finally,I describled and contrasted the local pronunciation of the three periods to fully reflect the phonetic evolution of Jincheng dialect in the modern and contemporary period.The introduction part summarizes the previous research situation of Jincheng dialect, and briefly introduces the research methods, innovations, significance of this study.First chapter discusses the phonology of the Jincheng dialect. By recording the description of Gao recorded sound and collecting the Jincheng dialect annals of recorded sound and finishing in Jincheng dialect in the beginning of this century, describle finitial consonant, vowel and tone, of the Jincheng dialect in the three periods of the specific circumstances.The second chapter discusses consonants in the three periods of evolution. After the initials of the three stages of evolution of statistics and comparison, the ancient fine group Hong sound and the evolution of Zhang Zhuang group word, mud parent word evolution, which reflects the evolution of Jincheng dialect during the past one hundred years.The third chapter discussed the evolution of the vowels,which sorts vowels as Yinsheng, Yang Sheng and Rusheng rhyme. Comparing the three periods of vowels.I find the evolution of Yang rhyme has a strong system; the discussions of Rusheng found retroflex consonant have a obvious effect in Jincheng dialect.Chapter four discusses the tone evolution of the Jincheng dialect.Because Gao did not record the tone, I contrast the tone changes in the middle of the last century and the beginning of this century, discovering Jincheng dialect tone without significant changes, only the difference of Hinata and rising tone becomes more and more obvious.The fifth chapter discusses the evolution characteristics of Jincheng dialect in one hundred years. At last, according to the internal and external factors,I try to illustrate the reasons of the changes in Jincheng dialect since the last century.
