China has five thousand years of history of ancient civilizations. In thethousands of years of history, formed by the evolution of the Chinesecivilization and together into a reflection of the national character and style ofChinese traditional culture. In recent years, both the packaging design workswhich won prizes in international and domestic competition of the packingdesign, most of them joined the Chinese traditional cultural elements. TheChinese traditional culture elements have become essential material for moderndesigners who design packaging. Chinese packaging design is walking in a roadwhich combined with the traditional culture and the theme of the times.As Chinese traditional condiment, Shanxi mature vinegar has a history ofthousands of years. Now, Shanxi mature vinegar has been integrated into theChinese culture, formed a unique cultural style of vinegar. In the long history ofChinese traditional cultural, vinegar culture has always been an important part.In the thousands of years of history, Shanxi matures vinegar packaging with thepassage of time from the simple change propagation. Packaging design has witnessed the development of the history of Shanxi mature vinegar and fullydemonstrated the long history of the Chinese traditional culture. As an importantcarrier to promote the Chinese traditional cultural, packaging design has playedan important role in the interpretation of the spiritual content of the brand,enhance the cultural quality of vinegar packaging and improve the inner qualityof vinegar. Good packaging design is the key to successful sales. Design reflectsthe brand culture value and promotes the sales is the key factors in packagingdesign.Shanxi mature vinegar has different brand and packaging design, manyjoined the traditional cultural elements in its packaging design. But it is worthnoting that there are still a lot of problems: Packaging design applies traditionalcultural elements directly, without any modification and embellishment, lack ofunderstanding for the long history of the Shanxi mature vinegar, to ignore thedifferent effects of different brands of the characteristics of Shanxi maturevinegar. Blending cultural elements of different products together and imitatingwine packaging too much, lack of innovation consciousness. These will not onlymisleading to consumers on the vision, but also causing the same design,causing consumers to visual fatigue and psychological aversion. So, fix thetraditional cultural elements and Shanxi mature vinegar packaging designperfectly is the problem of Shanxi mature vinegar packaging design.According to the above problems, this paper will be introduced traditionalcultural elements into Shanxi mature vinegar packaging design and carried on the thorough research, mainly reflected in:First, the paper analyzes the scientific connotation of traditional culture andthe evolution of Shanxi mature vinegar packaging design, and puts forward themechanism of fusion of traditional culture and Shanxi mature vinegar packagingdesign.Second, through to the existing of Shanxi mature vinegar packaging designinvestigation, understand the existing packaging design present situation,analysis fonts, graphic symbols, shape and color, and so on. Summarize thereasons for this situation and put forward solutions and recommendations. Forfurther study on the traditional culture elements in the application of Shanximature vinegar packaging design laid a foundation.Third, put forward the principle and trend of traditional culture elementsapplication in Shanxi mature vinegar packaging design, analysis the influence oftraditional cultural elements in packaging design. According to this principle,form the fonts, graphic symbols, color, shape, material, production process andother aspects to describe the specific application of traditional cultural elementsin the Shanxi mature vinegar packaging design. Through the examples to provethe important significance of traditional cultural elements to Shanxi maturevinegar packaging design.Fourth, by tracing back to East Lake Shanxi mature vinegar trademarkcultural origin, analysis of the traditional culture elements in the application ofpackaging design. Summarizes the excellent design methods, provide theoretical foundation and practical method for the design.Fifth, based on the above theories and methods, design several differentpositioning packaging of Shanxi mature vinegar. Apply theory to practice,integrate Chinese traditional culture elements in the packaging design, andimprove product value.
