Reserach Of Virtual Dance Design Basedon Pleasure-arousal-dominance Emotion Model

With the development of science and technology, music emotion recognition application scope is more and more widely. How to design appropriate emotion model to automatically identify music emotion became the focus of current research.Before the music emotion recognition, we should choose an emotion model, existing emotional model can be divided into two categories: category view emotion model and dimension view emotion model. they all have advantages and disadvantages, category view emotion model is difficult to analyze complex emotions, it is difficult to measure the extent of the emotion; Dimensions emotional model is not intuitive, and it is hard to understand.This article uses the pleasure-arousal-dominance emotion model to combine the advantages of these two types of emotion model. To extract the MIDI music notes, rhythm, speed, such as acoustic characteristics, the characteristics and the MIDI music P, A, D value regression analysis, establish the acoustic characteristics of the MIDI music and the return of the P, A, D value relationship. At the same time put forward by the P, A, D values to establish the pleasure-arousal-dominance space distance is used to measure emotional intensity method, is used to determine the MIDI music emotion.After analyse the emotion of music, we use the emotion to adjust the speed of dance.Which combines music and dance, increase the practicability and entertaining of the system. This paper also introduces the MIDI music feature extraction method, the emotion recognition process, the application value of the system and innovation points.By using the method of contrast test and quantitative test for virtual dance system for user acceptance testing, explores the accuracy of the recognition,which use the pleasure-arousal-dominance emotion model. in the virtual dance system were compared with ordinary dance after the test, the advantages of virtual dance system are analyzed.To sum up, using improved pleasure-arousal-dominance emotion model to emotional judgement, MIDI music can effectively learn the MIDI music emotion. And the affection of using music to dance to drive can enhance the attraction, appeal, flexibility, interesting of the dance.
