To develop the regional tourism is a new consensus of the tourism industry competition. There are dozens of tourism destinations that take the theme of Guan Gong in our country. Among these destinations, Shanxi Yuncheng Guandi Temple is the most representative one. What is most important thing now is how to create the brand image of Guan Gong culture under the precondition of homogenization and how to seek sameness while keeping difference. In this thesis, using the regional tourism theory, the author analyzes the present developing situation of Guan Gong scenic spots and discusses the construction of its brand image with visual design methods.This thesis is divided into two parts. In the first part, the author mainly elaborated the thesis topic and its significance and make a dynamic analysis of the related research home and abroad, while illustrating the research methods. Besides these, the author take Shanxi Yuncheng Guandi Temple as an example, propose a designing scheme and displayed the achievement of the research.The second part is mainly about the thematic theory thinking and interpretation of the graduation project. This part is divided into two chapters. The first chapter focuses on the concept of regional tourism, as well as the present situation of Guan Gong culture scenic spots under the background of the regional tourism, pointing out that the difficult point of regional tourism development is how to make a cultural choice. To illustrate this idea, the author made a summarize of national Guan Gong cultural scenic sports, especially the five preponderant of Shanxi Yuncheng Guandi Temple. In the second chapter, the author explains the construction on the visual design of brand image of Guan Gong cultural scenic spot, pointing out the particularity of the brand image design and analyzing the function of visual design in the building of tourism brand. In the end, taking Shanxi Yuncheng Guandi Temple as an example, the author propose a concrete stategy of visual design.
