Panorama Art originated in Europe, the so-called "Panorama" that is arranged in a circular painting of architectural space, so that the screen form a 360-degree view of a unique artistic presentation. Since the 1980s came to China, Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts as the main creative team, at home and abroad has created a far-reaching pieces of panorama.In the first chapter, the concept of theme and panoramic painting of the sort, and were themes from the landscape, history and war themes, religious themes of the three aspects of the sort, and analyzes three different themes in the development process panoramas focusing on the period, in panorama concept definition, origin and development section of the panorama of European painting as the introduction of China’s foreign painting, combined with its own characteristics, were defined and the origins of, and in the 1980s after the introduction of China’s development in the country are briefly described.
