Discussion On The Meaning Regeneration From The Perspective Of Translation Practice

This is a translation practice report on social science texts. The translation practice came from my twice practical experiences during school:since June 2013 to the end of 2014,1 participated in the translation practice named In order to Create Women’s Century--Symbiosis, Peace, Environment (Hereinafter referred to as In order to Create Women’s Century) from the series of the Challenge of Mahayana Buddhism; Since November 2013 to July 2014,I participated in the translation practice named Beyond the National and History.In order to Create the Women’s Century is written under the background in which modern women have cut conspicuous figures. The book is based on the Buddhism, and the purpose is to achieve the founder’s thought and promote it to the world, create a women’s century; Beyond the National and History discusses the issues about new nationalism and historical revisionism of the 1990s occurred in Japan from all perspectives.The translation practice report includes the following five parts.The first part is an introduction. This part is a review section, including the theory and the general overview of the translation practice.The second part is about the translation task. This part includes background information of the translation practice texts and the meaning and purpose of the translation practice.The third part is about the translation process. This part includes translation preparation and translation steps.The fourth part is the meaning regeneration and problem-solving solutions in translation. This part is the main part of the report.In this part, I start from establishing a correct language view, then analyze and discuss the problems of meaning regeneration in vocabulary and meaning regeneration in grammar in the process of translation as examples, then combine translation theory with my practical experience to make the appropriate solutions.The fifth part is the conclusion. This part includes a summary of the above, and the awareness of the shortage exists in the report.Of course, my translation practice is very limited, and the understanding of the meaning regeneration theory is inadequate. I hope to exercise myself by constant practice in future, so that I can have a deeper understanding on the meaning regeneration, and further enhance my translation level.
