Research On Mao Dun’s Novels From The Perspective Of Russian And Soviet Literature

In this paper, the author select Russian and Soviet literature’s influence on Mao Dun and Mao Dun spirit influence on the acceptance of Russian Soviet literature as the object of study. It focuses on the analysis of acceptance and beyond influence of Russia Soviet theory of literature, Russian literature tradition and Russian writers’creation technique of Mao Dun and Mao Dun.The introduction part of the paper discusses the choices of Russian literature and research methods. The main body is divided into three parts. The first part is Mao Dun’s absorption of Russian and Soviet literature and art’s theory. It discusses the idea from the three aspects:"Art for life" theory, proletarian art theory and revolutionary realism theory.It analyzes his critical articles and the proposed theory of literature and art. "Art for life" concept combines the Russian writer Lev Tolstoy’s thought. The second part is Mao Dun’s acceptance of the spirit of Russian and Soviet literature. It discusses the idea from the two aspects:the national spirit、humanitarian expression and the sense of historical mission. The third part is Mao Dun’s drawing upon the writing techniques of Russian and Soviet writers, includes three aspects:the ethnic sense of mission, the humanitarian spirit and national spirit. The third part discusses that Mao Dun reference to Russian writers writing techniques. It is divided into three aspects:The description of the grand occasion, network structure and the skills of writing reference. In the demonstration, the Soviet Russian literature and literary works of Mao Dun combines the effeteness not only in theory, but also in his novels. The conclusion part points out that the complexity of the Russian Soviet literature influence on Chinese modern literature. It makes a brief evaluation on Mao Dun’s contribution to China modern literature and put forward some new cognition and meaning of the research on Mao Dun’s novels from the perspective of Russian and Soviet literature.What need to be pointed out is that Mao Dun novels and the relationship between the Russian and Soviet literature are not simply the sense of "influence/accept", in which complex place there are Mao Dun’s many unique thinking and innovation. The innovation performance in the historical background and social development is different. Mao Dun made scientific analysis in the novel characters, the fate of the characters selection, with the proletarian world outlook guidance, in the Mao Dun novels there are remarkable performance. From the perspective of the social meaning and conveys, the creative method of Mao Dun’s novel in Russian literature can deepen our understanding of the development of Chinese modern literature.
