With the rapid development of mobile Internet, people has entered a new era of visual communication. As an important way of visual communication in visual communication era, micro animation is gradually becoming hot up and popular. At the same time, with the increasingly fierce market competition, the modern economy has turned from pure product competition into brand competition. Due to factors such as capital, the small new brand promotion is not enough thorough, so we need new ways to enhance brand promotion efforts. The popularity of micro anime injected new blood and energy for the small new brands, which is a kind of effective brand promotion marketing.The purpose of this study was based on the analysis of the micro animation, how micro animation effectively service for brand promotion and popularization, and provide a kind of auxiliary competitive brands. In order to achieve the goal, the thesis mainly adopts the combined research methods of theory analysis and design practice. The main body of the paper concentrated in chapter three/four, and the fourth chapter is the key part. The second chapter discusses the related concepts of mobile Internet and cartoon, including the concept of mobile Internet, mobile terminal equipment, the main feature of the Internet based on mobile terminal, micro cartoon concept, audience, content, way and so on. In Chapter Three, the coming of the era of mobile Internet provides a favorable to the development of micro animation, through the analysis of status and good examples, summed up the mobile terminals depending on the characteristics of the micro cartoon shows, design performance and design principles. Through analysis and study of the third chapter, the fourth chapter specifically analysis micro animation marketing advantages and limitations, and the feasibility of micro animation applied in brand promotion, the principle of micro animation application in brand promotion, etc, discussing the effectiveness of micro animation used in the brand promotion. Besides, combined with auther’s own practice, micro animation used in the design of original independent brand “Secrets of Twin Princesses” emonstrate auxiliary. Finally, the author made a conclusion of the relationship between the brand commercial promotion and micro animation: combination between micro animation and brand commercial promotion could promote each other and develop coordinately, which has great social significance and economic value. The paper also foresee this innovation of the anime and brand combination will create incalculable economic value in today’s mobile Internet era, and will be a new growth point of the brand marketing in the future.
