Research On The Theory Of "Misreading" In Literature Communication

Harold Bloom is a famous contemporary American literary critic and theorist. In the 1970s, Bloom put forward a theory of revolutionary significance - the theory of "misreading". The theory is completely subvert the traditional concept and the influence of the literary history, and it’s the innovation of Bloom. Bloom is so renowned at home and abroad. However, the theory of "misreading" also make Bloom in the forefront, controversial. With the development of domestic literary theory, Bloom’s theory of "misreading" gradually introduced to China, and cause the extensive concern of domestic scholars. The theory of "misreading" has a far-reaching influence to the development of Chinese literary theory. Bloom’s theory of "misreading" is as the research object in the paper, trying to peruse Bloom, on the basis of relevant theoretical writings, from exploring the theory of "misreading" theoretical basis, the connotation of the theory of "misreading" and "misreading" theory and the connection of intertextuality, etc., to comb systematically the theory of "misreading". This paper will also conbine the theory of "misreading" with the contemporary Chinese cultural phenomenon in the process of cultural transmission, and read the existence of the phenomenon of misreading.The basic ideas and viewpoints of this paper is as follows:the introduction part of the paper mainly discusses the topic from three aspects in detail, the selected topic reason, the background information, research review and the research purpose, contend and method. It comprehensively analyses the background of Bloom’s theory of "misreading", and more comprehensively summarizes the domestic scholars on the theory of "misreading" research present situation, finally it gives a brief overview of this research significance. Introduced in the first part of the later, after the introduction of Bloom’s life and his academic research experience, this paper from three ways introduces Bloom’s theory of "misreading" influenced by predecessors’ theories, from deconstruction, Freud’s psychoanalysis and Nietzsche’s strong will to power. Bloom is a blend of Derrida’s "differance" doctrine and Paul De Man’s text misreading theory, Freud’s theory of Oedipus, and on the basis of the theory of Nietzsche’s strong will to power, put forward the unique theory of "misreading". Finally, respectively to three important works on Bloom’s theory of "misreading" - "the Anxiety of Influence", "A map of Misreading " and "Poetry and Repression" are analyzed. In the second part, mainly from the generating mechanism of "misreading", the influence field of "misreading", the cultural value of "misreading" and the discrimination of "misreading" and "intertextuality" four parts detailed analyse the connotation and composition of "misreading" theory. Bloom’s theory of "misreading" revolutionary to subvert the traditional concept and the influence of the literary history, he thinks, the tradition of poetry is formed by generations of poets misreading of their precursors. As the latter of the time, younger generation poets at the huge shadow of predecessors, under the anxiety of influence. In order to achieve their own originality, the poet must constantly "misreading" predecessors, breaking the creation mode of predecessors, so as to create an original poetry and join to the strong poet. In the third part, based on cultural phenomenon in the contemporary Chinese cultural transmission, analyze the interaction of existing literature, film and television creative adaptation of the "misreading" of the case, from the perspective of Chinese culture practice further evidence the Bloom’s theory of "misreading". This part is this article innovation points. In the process of literary creation, senior writers’great influence to the younger generation is inevitable, only by constantly "misreading" predecessors’classic literature can create new works. I believe that, with the generation of literary classics, as in contemporary Chinese culture spread of literary classics repeatedly been adapted for film and television scripts, and other cultural phenomenon also exists some degree of "misreading". This kind of "misreading" between imitation and beyond, specious, legislation, all the wonderful work, competition for audiences, and promote the flourishing arts scene. The author thinks that, this kind of "misreading", not only will not reverse the classics, but also can promote the spread of literature, realize the significance of proliferation, inspired by the new literature and art high-quality goods. Finally, in the perspective of integration, combing the theoretical value of Bloom’s theory of "misreading" and dialectically analyzes the limits of it. Bloom’s theory of "misreading" put the writer and the text in pure creation and plain text field study, is not only Bloom’s originality, but also the one-sidedness and limitations of it.
