The Research Of Art Features Of 《 The Dawns Here Are Quiet》

Vasiliev was a famous novelist of soviet martial theme and enjoyed a high reputation in the Soviet literature. He was the representative writer of Soviet military literature in the literary movement named "The Third Wave". 《The Dawns Here Are Quiet》 was his masterpiece. In 1969, 《The Dawns Here Are Quiet》was published on the Soviet magazine called "Youth", brought about a great population in the Soviet readers and was adapted into drama and opera very soon. The director Adams ? Rostow Nowitzki and Vasiliev together wrote the film script of 《The Dawns Here Are Quiet》. In 1972, Adams ? Rostow Nowitzki finished moive shooting. The novel《The Dawns Here Are Quiet》 are far less well-known than movie. Although there are a lot of the comments about the novel, most of them are short essays. Thereby, the novel still needs more completely and deeply research. Especially till now nobody analyzes the novel from the perspective of narratologie and rhetoric. Thus, the paper trys to use the basic principes of narratologie and rhetoric to analyze the text of the novel. The paper used a great deal of linguistic examples in the novel to analyze the literary langue used in the novel from the linguistic practical level aiming at making readers comprehend the novel more clearly and thoroughly. Meanwhile, through the research on the artistic features of rehtoric in the novel, the paper managed to do some inquiry on the artistic specialty of the novel.The paper was divided into three parts:The first part is a presentation of Vasiliev and some research achievements of the novel by now. And then discussed the feasibility of the using of narratologie and rhetoric in researching the novel. In addition, explained the creativity of the paper in this part.The second part was divided into two chapters. In the first chapter existing two parts. First part analyzed the function of colloquialism and specific military terms in the moulding of characters. Second part discussed the sense of humor conveyed by different means of rhetoric, espscially by metaphor. The second chapter is on narratologie. Mainly from narrative time, angle and sound presented the novel’s artistic value.The third part is the conclusion, in this part briefly summarized the overall characteristics of language in the novel 《The Dawns Here Are Quiet》.
