Tao Yuanming Scholarship And Its Modern Value Research

Tao Yuanming is a great poet of eastern Jin dynasty. Mr. Wang Guowei said:"After Xia、 Shang、Zhou Dynasty, no poet is better than Quyuan、Yuanming, Zimei、Zizhan. Even if there is no literary talent, their charisma can shine through the ages. So there is no noble writer wihtout noble character." Tao played a crucial role in the development of the later poetry, especially the development of pastoral poetry. Based on the interpretation of Tao works, I have carried on the analysis to Tao’s source of learning, attitude of learning, the way of learning, the concept of learning, and the ideal of learning, comprehensively and objectively investigate the temporary value of Tao.
