| Communication with pundits seems inevitable in our daily life.Whether university students are capable of mastering this or not is of great importance. However the domestic researches on interpersonal communication for undergraduates are mainly pure review analysis,very few of them are field study with adequate theories to support. In this paper, dependent on the theory of planned behavior,questionnaires are designed to collect information from communication between students of three universities in Hohhot and pundits, and based on the analysis of the survey, related reasonable suggestions are proposed. There are 460 questionnaires in total and392 available questionnaires which have been got among which original 170, official 290.The questionnaires are designed to study the behavioral attitude,subjective norm, behavioral control, behavior disposition and other facets. By interview, opened questionnaires survey and closed questionnaires pre survey, the contents of the original questionnaires are modified, and the final official questionnaires concerning to the communication between pundits and university students have been developed. In addition, I use software SPASS analyzing the statistics and testing hypothesis by descriptive statistical analysis,correlation analysis, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA and other related analysis.This research shows that theory model of planned behavior is effective to explain behavior of undergraduates. Among all the variables in behavior model of communication with pundits, behavior disposition is most correlating influencing factor, while by contrast,subject norm is less strong influencing factor to trigger the communication.The result from analyzing demographic factors exhibits that the influence of gender factor for students to communicate with pundits are less obvious; that of grade factor are compared obvious; that of disposition factor are extremely obvious. Generally, those who feel inferior communicate with experts infrequently, on the contrary, those who are confident have stronger willingness to communicate; the influence of the degree of intimacy with their parents for students is not significant.In general, the frequency for university students to communicate with pundits is slightly behind the average. Among all communications,passive and enforced communications are also included. Only 10% of students show willing to talk with pundits on their own initiatives,which mean that students who are actually mastering communication with pundits are less than we expected. Their capability to communicate needs to be improved to a great extent. |
