| The paper illustrates the usage,which includes the frequency and the types, of the politeness strategies conducted in Nanning adult residences’ request speech acts and refusal speech acts arising in public by the analysis about 696 pieces of relevant corpus gained in the survey into 60 Nanning adult residences whose primary communicative language is Mandarin, manifesting the correlative factors and coefficient factors to the politeness strategies.In the first chapter, the paper chiefly identifies the “request speech act†“ refusal speech act†and “politeness†in this study, investigates the current study situation about these two kinds of speech acts in Mandarin social pragmatically, presents the range and research techniques of this study. In the second chapter, technically, the paper discusses the matters in sample acquiring with sampling survey method as well as the observation method, and further, analyses encoded 12 groups of corpus information which are classified into 7 types. In the third chapter, the paper illuminates the use ratio and the types of the politeness strategies posed in the respondents’ request speech arts and refusal acts, carefully draws a conclusion that there are definitely distinguishes among the use frequencies and preferred types when the surveyed group’s speech acts occur in different context. In the fourth chapter, the paper casts light upon the correlative factors and coefficient factors in respondents’ request speech arts and refusal speech acts. Further, the paper finally enlightens its own data values and social significance.It aims at promoting the awareness about Nanning city language situation, presenting relevant language phenomenon and problems, then providing assisting statistics and samples information for further study, and poses furnishing proposals being favorable to a harmonious society to cultivate the improvement of public communication methods and social integration. |
