| Due to the support of National office for Chinese International Promotion, breakthrough progress of Chinese teaching has been made in Thailand. However, there are still many problems in teaching. In recent years, more and more experts and scholars have found a phenomenon in which Thai students have a difficulty in learning Chinese quantifiers. By consulting the related literature material, the author found that there exists a bias error phenomenon when Thai students learn Chinese quantifiers. The author also found that in reaction to this phenomenon most of experts and scholars have put forward a variety of teaching methods, including analytical method of teaching, culture method, situational teaching method and hierarchical teaching method. However, necessary practice is still needed to prove the validity of these methods. The author was just about to go to Thailand to be a Chinese volunteer teacher at Confucius Institute at Burapha University for a year. It’s believed to be a good chance to validate these teaching methods.Based on existing teaching methods and combined with Thai students’ actual learning situation, the author analyzed the feasibility of the every teaching method. Meanwhile, the author compared the results of Thai students’ Chinese quantifier errors with that in previous studies. After confirming the error results in line with previous research results, the author put analytical method of teaching, situational teaching method and hierarchical teaching method into teaching design. Combined with some teaching principles, contrast test was adopted so as to compare the practice teaching in two classes. Finally the author analyzed the validity of each teaching method of Chinese quantifiers through the questionnaire data analysis and classroom observation etc. |
