Objective: To explore the reporting of the outbreak of the network group events,and the impact on public opinion through the investigation of basic network environment; to explore the impact of the network group events on college students’ emotional bias under the difference public opinion direction on the internet; to explore the guide meaning of the health network environment on college students’ positive emotion.Method: This study consists of two parts, Study 1: Selecting the hot topics from the well-known domestic information website Ifeng and Sina, which was published from January 1, 2014 to September 30, 2014, collecting network group events; with the method of convenience sampling, randomly selecting 32 students in Liaoning province to complete the questionnaire of network group events. Study 2: Using 2(gender: male and female) * 3(public opinion positive comments, negative comments and no comments) * 3(the event types: positive events, negative events and neutral events) of mixed experimental design, extracting 300 freshman from a university in Liaoning and divided into 3 groups: positive group, negative group and no comment group. Every group has 100 persons, 50 boys and 50 girls. The three group participants completed the self-reported questionnaire about the network group events for emotional bias with positive comments, negative comments and neutral comments.And each of the questionnaires has 6 parts because the events sequence’ is different.Result: Study 1:(1)There are 42 pieces of negative events,18 pieces of neutral events and 9 pieces of positive events in the totally 69 pieces of network group events; and the number of different event is extremely significant difference(χ2=25.304, p<0.001).(2)There are no significant differences among different events about event proficiency(χ2=0.341, p>0.05); Study 2:(1)Testing subjects basic emotions before the trails, the results show that there is no significant difference between groups emotional reaction(F=0.213, p>0.213), and there is no significant difference between males and females(t=0.133, p>0.133).(2)Using repeated ANOVA(analysis of variance) for the scores of emotional reaction, the results show that the main effect of event type has significant difference(F=290.576, p<0.001);the main effect of public opinion direction has significant difference(F=19.527, p<0.001);and there is significant difference(F=5.983, p<0.05) between male and female; also the interaction effect between event type and public opinion direction is significant(F=7.557, p<0.001).(3)Using repeated ANOVA for the scores of reaction intensity, the results show that the main effect of event type variable has significant difference(F=113.715, p<0.001);the main effect of public opinion direction has no significant difference(F=2.713, p>0.05);also there is no significant difference(F=1.329, p>0.05) between males and females; the interaction effect between event type and public opinion direction is significant(F=4.469, p<0.05);the interaction effect between event type and gender is significant(F=8.289, p<0.005).Conclusion:(1) From the report of network group events, we know that the network media tends to report negative events.(2)The event type, public opinion direction and gender, all of them have effect on college students’ emotional reaction. And about the emotional reaction, there has interaction effect between event types and public opinion directions.(3) The event type, public opinion direction and gender, all of them have effect on college students’ reaction intensity.And about the reaction intensity, there have interaction effects between event types and public opinion directions and between event types and gender.
