Adolescent problems have become more and more prominent in recent years. It has been reported that in order to prevent students from jumping off the building, a school built iron bar fence all over the balcony in the teaching building. A girl requested her mother to buy her a set of iPhone, iPad and iPod when they seem to become a necessity among students, regardless of the heavy burden for a working class family. And when refused, this girl showed ill temper in the store and even screamed at her mother. All these news seem ridiculous yet exist truly. Are these adolescents really happy in their life? The period of adolescence, as an important phase for one’s growth, turn young people to maturity gradually. Many adolescents start to concern about their own changes since their cognitive conscience increase along with the growth of their physical body. Through the careful study in literature materials and the current situation, the author of the paper found that there were already studies showing the close links between the sense of inferiority and the life satisfaction, self-awareness and life satisfaction. And in the former studies on specific areas, there were only studies for remote areas. Therefore, this study thus begins a discussion mainly on the junior middle school students in Nanchang with the study of the relationship between the sense of inferiority and life satisfaction, self-awareness and life satisfaction, in order to fill the blank on the analysis for the psychological condition among junior middle school students in Nanchang, which can be a reference for education.Inferiority complex is an emotional experience feeling not as good as others from underestimating himself when compared with others and can be divided into implicit inferiority and inferiority. Implicit inferiority is one psychological situation that the individual cannot notice but has certain impact on the individual behavior attitude. And inferiority is an emotion experience that can be sensed by individuals. Self-awareness is a psychological situation when the individual treat himself as the attention object which can be divided into private self-awareness and public self-awareness. Life satisfaction is based on the standard one sets for himself which gives a subjective evaluation on his life quality.This study adopts the approach of stratified random sampling and chooses samples of 354 junior high school students in Nanchang randomly. Based on the interview method and combined with the analysis of literature, this study discusses the inferiority psychology, self-awareness and life satisfaction about the junior high school students in Nanchang. There are two parts in this study. First part is based on the demographic variable and it analyzes the overall status quo of the inferiority psychology, self-awareness and life satisfaction about junior high school students. Second part studies the correlation between inferiority psychology and life satisfaction and the correlation between self-awareness and life satisfaction. The results show as follows:1. Junior high school students are generally suffering the implicit inferiority and explicit inferiority. In overall, the degree of junior high school students’ inferiority in Nanchang is on the average level. The students who are suffering the high explicit inferiority are less than implicit inferiority ones. Amongst, the level of the academic inferiority is the highest one following by the life inferiority,social inferiority and characteristic inferiority. There are obvious differences of inferiority complex among the different junior high school students who are in different grades, familial circumstances and under guardianships of different educational background. There is no significant difference in different genders and living circumstances as well as whether or not single child. The implicit inferiority of junior high school students in Nanchang varies significantly from the aspects of genders and single child or not.2. The mean value of the implicit self-awareness of junior high school students in Nanchang is 22.11. The mean value of public self is 15.44. The level of implicit self-awareness is significantly higher than the level of public self-awareness. Implicit self is significant difference in the aspect of single child or not and no significant difference in the aspects of gender, grade, living situation and familial circumstance. Among the single child group, male implicit self is significant higher than female. There are significant difference in public self in the aspects of gender and grade.3. Self-awareness is correlated with inferiority complex. Overall self-awareness and social inferiority are correlated with each other. Implicit self and living inferiority are negatively correlated. Public self and academic inferiority are significantly positively correlated.4. Inferiority complex and life satisfaction are correlated with each other. Overall living inferiority, social inferiority, academic inferiority, characteristic inferiority are negatively correlated with each dimensions of the life satisfaction. In the aspect of living inferiority, except the academic satisfaction and the freedom satisfaction, the living inferiority is negatively correlated with overall satisfaction, friendship satisfaction, family satisfaction and school satisfaction. Implicit inferiority and living satisfaction are also correlated. The implicit index EB1 is negatively correlated with each dimensions of the living satisfaction. The implicit index EB2 is positively correlated with living satisfaction, friendship satisfaction, family satisfaction, school satisfaction, environment satisfaction and freedom satisfaction.5. Self-awareness is correlated with living satisfaction. Self-awareness is positively correlated with friendship satisfaction. Implicit self-awareness is positively correlated with overall living satisfaction, friendship satisfaction, family satisfaction and academic satisfaction. Public self isn’t correlated with living satisfaction. Based on the analysis of the correlation on two levels of self-awareness and living satisfaction, it shows that implicit self and public self is significantly positively correlated with self-satisfaction.
