This is a study of fundamental theories of scientific papers. Articles under the main music disciplines tragic characters in Rachmaninoff’s "rising prelude in g minor" the embodiment of it. Main idea of the article is using the inductive method and literature study analyzed a tragic character in "rising prelude in g minor" is all about. Overall structure of the article is divided into two chapters, respectively, from the "rising prelude in g minor" tragic musical vocabulary in the "rose prelude in g minor" the embodiment of "rising prelude in g minor" tragic musical expression in "rising prelude in g minor" embodied in two aspects of specific analysis. Chapter I analyses "rose prelude in g minor" in the tragic embodiment of musical vocabulary, concluded that "rising prelude in g minor" takes full advantage of Rachmaninoff’s iconic music vocabulary in "bells" and "death" theme to tragic characters. Second chapter analyzes the "rising prelude in g minor" tragic embodiment of music performance practices, concluded that "rising prelude in g minor" respectively in the four aspects of melody, harmony, tonality, Dynamics showed a tragic character. Finally concluded that Rachmaninoff "rose prelude in g minor" as many of Rachmaninoff’s piano works, full performance of its unique characteristic of the tragic. This paper applies the logic and the knowledge of musicology, aesthetics, literature research, methods of induction, analysis of Rachmaninoff s "rising prelude in g minor" tragic characters reflected in, and sort out the process of integration into their own independent thinking, with theoretical and practical significance of the study.
