Film and television products, as people’s important consumption activities, have become a pillar of national cultural industries. Global film industry consumption has reach to $62.04 billion in 2012, and Asia has overtaken Europe as the world’s second largest film market owing to China’s rapid growth of the film market. The film negotiation of Sino-US has finished in 2012, both party agreed to increase the number of introduction American movies a year to 34, which will surely impact on the development of Chinese film and TV culture industry in a certain period of time. Although the current industry is developing rapidly, facing the impact of the New Deal, how to enlarge the market of film and television culture industry, how to improve the industry to a higher level, there are still so many problems worth studying, and in international business field, these problems should be deliberated.At present, the Chinese film and TV culture industry just simply focus on the box office earnings of the films and the protection of intellectual property rights related, ignore its connected effect behind. Firstly, this paper discussed how to enlarge the market of the industry by clarifying the development of movie derivatives market. And secondly, the paper uses the "technology spillover effect" in economics to analyze the influence on related industry of a country due to the international exchange of film and television production. The research conclusion has a great significance for Chinese film and TV culture industry developing into a higher level.Starting research with economics perspective embodies the core value of this paper. For the first time, the author decomposed the connected effect of the industry systematically into three phenomenon and in-depth discussion in each part. These phenomena are "film intellectual achievement", "film and television services "and "related physical products". For the first time, the author discussed the social macroscopic effect of film and television product introduction from the perspective of technology spillovers. And based on the above analysis, the author puts forward many suggestions on the development of Chinese film and television industry and vision.The paper started the research from the topic Chinese film and TV culture industry, mainly using the comparative method, literature method, qualitative analysis and statistical method these four research methods to analyze the problems. In the meanwhile, the author used her international business professional strengths to analyze the Chinese film and TV culture industry from a new perspective. With its theoretical discussion and innovative perspective, this paper enrich the development theory of the film and TV culture industry, and has important implications for further research in the related field.
