Lung Yingtai has become one of the most famous writers of Taiwan in the middle 1980 s.She’s got a lot of influence in Taiwan’s literary world, so that it is worthwhile to make thoroughly study of her works and the society’s attention caused by them.Lung Yingtai’s rich life experiences and multiple roles injected different elements for her creation, carved an impression on her writings, even decided the value orientation of her works. We can tell from her creations that she is pursuing democracy, freedom and equality,and she Loves and respects life. When returned to Taiwan from America, Lung Yingtai couldn’t stand the bad customs in Taiwan’s society and spoke out her feelings about them in Wild Fire, which raised social debate. Lung created "People in Europe", "Coming Up to You to See The End of The Century" and other writings when she’s in Europe, those works shows Lung Yingtai’s multi-cultural perspective. When Lung become a new mom, "Child, Take Your Time" reflected her pleasure to be a mom and housewife for her little baby. When she returned to literary world from politics, as a mother, a daughter and a wife, she created "Dear Andre", "Mu Song" and other works, which described the predicament of middle-aged women’s life. "Great River Great Sea 1949" expressed the concern for mankind.In conclusion, Lung Yingtai’s different social status bring her diverse understandings of life, so that she could create more and more influential works with her own unique perspective.
