| Objective: To explore the structure of the moral self-supporting of adolescent students. The adolescent students’ moral self-supporting questionnaire was developed. The relibility and validity were tested. The purpose of the study was to provide assessment tools for adolescent students’ moral self-supporting questionnaire. Examing the present situation and the characteristics of the moral self-supporting of adolescent students.Methods: The questionnaire establishment was based on theoretical and experiential strategies. The primary structure of the adolescent students’ moral self-supporting were proposed by drawing forefather’s study and questionnaire, interviewing students with open-end questionnaire, and form a pre-test questionnaire. The formal scale was developed after items analysis and exploratory factor analysis. Formal samples consist of 1756 adolescent students in Changsha, Changde, Yueyang, Zhangjiajie, Anyang, to further verified the reliability and validity of questionnaire, and analysis the confirmatory factor at the same time. At last, analyze the differences of social demographic data.Results: 1.The adolescent students’ moral self-supporting questionnaire composed of 21 items including 5 dimensions: daily accomplishment, collective morality, civilized behavior, rational quality and trustworthinness. Each factor loading between 0.459-0.740. 2.The reliability and validity analysis results: the alpha coefficient of the scale is 0.832, the split-half reliability coefficient of the scale is 0.775. The test-retest reliability is 0.872 and 0.775. The correlations between each subscale are from 0.187 to 0.478. The correlations between subscales and scale ranges are from 0.522 to 0.783. The correlations between the scores and criterion are from 0.308 to 0.823. The reliability and validity is reasonable and reacher the basic demend of measurement standards. 3.The structure of the test is reasonable and reaches based on goodness-of-fit indices and standard path diagram. 4.The scores of scale and some subscales have differences among gender, gardes, whether single, whether in residence and family home.Conclusion: 1.The adolescent students’ moral self-supporting questionnaire includes five dimensions, 21 items. 2.The structure of the test, reliability and validity is reasonable and reacher the basic demend of measurement standards. 3.The adolescent students’ moral self-supporting have differences in different social demographic variables among gender, gardes, whether single, whether in residence and family home. |
