Study Of The Application Of Hand Drawing In Poster Design

The fetter between poster design and traditional hand drawing has a long history. Entering into the era of image information, as far as "visual culture", the hand drawing in poster design is an artist’s visual expression about social life and natural experience, contains profound connotation of a country or nation on traditional culture. But it has been heavily influenced by modernism. In this age dominated by computer design, traditional hand drawing has gradually overlooked by people. Domestic poster designers have been influenced by western culture, without carrying forward and developing traditional culture. At this note, it is worthy for contemporary designers to study traditional culture and art in the field of modern poster design.According to the above content, this article is set to analyze the formal language of hand drawing based on the theory of semiotics, aesthetic and by means of classification and case analysis, and study the rules of hand drawing used in the poster design, five parts altogether are as follows: the first part is mainly about background, research purposes, main contents and research methods of hand-painted poster design; The second part will state the origin between poster design and handdrawing from development course under the context of visual culture and will compare them with the pure art; The third part will classify hand-painted poster design, and analyze the features of the formal language of hand drawing in poster design with reference to example. The fourth part will start from the principle of design, combining psychology and other subject knowledge, to summarize the rules of hand drawing used in poster design; The fifth part will dig out the real value and analyze the developments by designing posters through hand drawing.According to this paper, the research shows that the traditional hand-painted art has diversified formal language,such as the artistic conception of ink painting, the concise and strong feeling of woodcut painting, etc.; It also shows that traditional hand drawing can make poster design more diversified and with more national characteristics and have richer visual appealing. Furthermore, it can make the poster not only improves and guides the aesthetic interest and ideas of people, but also provides better reference for teaching practice on poster design and actual design work.
