Research On The Preposition Of LieNvZhuan

The preposition is an important part of speech in Chinese grammar system. Lie Nv Zhuan is the first biography in our history which separates itself from rules, it is also a specific history for women, which means it contained significant ideological and academic value. Regarding prepositions of Lie Nv Zhuan as research objects, this paper tries to describe a panorama of Lie Nv Zhuan’s prepositions by exhaustive counting and analyzing, hoping it would benefit to the research of preposition development and the research about the preposition’s condition in Western Han Dynasty.This paper is divided into 6 parts. Chapter 1 is the introduction, includes reason and methodology of this paper. This part contains 6 sections, the first one is the introduction of Lie Nv Zhuan and its writer. Sections 2 to 4 is the introduction about version, corpus value and the research status. Section 5 reviews preposition’s research, section 6 discuss the determination and classification of Lie Nv Zhuan’s prepositions.Chapter 2 to 5 are the bodies of this paper, they describe and discuss the preposition of time and place, the preposition of object and scope, instrument preposition and cause preposition. Within each chapter, the writer subdivides prepositions by the meaning of the objects, and sort out the preposition system by the description and analysis of each preposition.Chapter 6 is the epilog of this paper, and it contains two parts: the first one is the description and analysis of Lie Nv Zhuan’s whole preposition system, the writer demonstrate it with data and chart. The second part is the preposition contrast between the Lie Nv Zhuan and Chun Qiu Zuo Zhuan, sorts out the differences and the change points by the exhaustive contrast.
