| Classroom probing, as an important classroom questioning skill, not only stimulates the students to participate in the class and make an active atmosphere, but also stimulates the students to think and answer questions correctly, deeply and comprehensively. The novice teachers are the new forces of international Chinese language education carreer. Their professional knowledge and teaching skills will be directly related to the development of international Chinese language education. Therefore, this article choosed the novice Chinese teacher as the research object to study the classroom probing comprehensively and systematicly.This article selected six novice Chinese teachers as the research object and conducted the classroom observation and recording in different Chinese classes of different level and lesson types. According to this, this article stuied and analyzed the specific circumsrances of the novice Chinese teachers’use of classroom probing from the number and frequency, the type of question, the way to answer and the time to ask. Besides, this article futher studied the feedback with questionnaires for students. And we also studied the validity of the novice Chinese teachers’s classroom probing with the constructivism and interviews for teachers. We found that, firstly, the number and the frequence of the novice Chinese teachers’probing is mainly affected by the different Chinese level and lesson type; secondly, the novice Chinese teachers mainly use the referential questions to probe; thirdly, the novive Chinese teachers mostly use the wh-questions to probe; forth, the novice Chinese teachers probe the questions almost during all the class and the novice Chinese teacher usually probe the questions when the students answering questions not completely; fifth, the validity of the novice Chinese teachers’probing maily manifest in four aspects——the setting of the probing questions, the guiding of the probing’s situation, the dialogue between the teacher and student and the eveluaion of the probing’s effect.At last, we drew a conclusion and also gave some teaching advises on the basis of the investigation and research about the novice Chinese teachers’probing. |
