| The vocal music art has its very outstanding features. It is vivid, bright, misty and abstract. Meanwhile, it can bring direct feeling to people without the help of annotation or translation, and it tends to enable people to feel profound, lofty,complicated and confusing. The emitted sound is generated by vocal cord vibration when learning vocal music performance. However, students seldom have intuitive physical recognition against their own vocal organs when they are singing. Many things can only be carried out by virtue of experience and feel, such as how to place the sound, how to control the breath movement and how to make the singing become vivid and contagious during singing process. It is for this reason that the vocal music teaching seems to be more difficult comparing with other art disciplines,especially the teaching of singing emotion expression. The author cannot help thinking that if teachers and students are able to “see†to physical conditions of vocal organs, it is possible for them to understand the above-mentioned problems which are more difficult to be understood by the subjective consciousness by virtue of objective form or data. In other words, if the subjective feeling expressed by singing emotion expression and objective support can be unified and the scientific data interpretation is obtained, the sound production process and emotional experience of vocal music can be highly combined.In recent years, the invention for voice analysis software of computer has provided the important science & technology means for voice analysis. The voice analysis software analyzes the physical performance for voice of singer and enables researchers to obtain data with high accuracy and high objectivity by recording the real voice state. The author took the voice test software of computer as the tool and collected 50 subjects in three groups altogether to carry out tests, all of whom are students from China Conservatory of Music and the School of Music of Chengdu Normal University respectively. Two indexes(“fundamental frequency†and“harmonics to noise ratioâ€) for sound parameter of subjects during singing processes are measured by applying the voice analysis software of computer. Meanwhile, the test analysis of independent sample t is carried out against emotion expression during singing process of song based on the measured data. It is observed from theresult that two sound parameters(fundamental frequency and harmonics to noise ratio) have significant differences, while such differences represent differences in emotion expression and singing technical level of subjects. The most important effects of this research lie in reflecting the “good and bad†subjective assessment with specific, scientific and comparative data, and expanding one exploratory way for vocal music research in researches of music psychology, music psychoacoustics,experimental aesthetics and other interdisciplinary fields. Meanwhile, the reference value is provided for vocal music teaching, which opens a fresh start for our vocal music research. |
