The Asthetics Research Of Folk Opera Mulan Poem’s Performing Arts

Opera, as a kind of comprehensive art, includes music, drama, literature, dance and many other elements. China’s national opera entered into China at the beginning of the last century. Along with the constant fusion of Chinese and western culture, opera also integrated with musical arts with Chinese characteristics, and then evolved into a kind of special artistic form. Mulan Poem, as a new opera which integrated ancient poetry with modern opera for the first time, belongs to a great opera which has a value of milestone in the development history of Chinese opera, and it is worthy of our learning and using for reference.In the process of writing this thesis, based on the development of Chinese national opera, it analyzed the aesthetic meaning of the performing arts of Mulan Poem. This paper is composed of introduction, conclusion and three chapters. The introduction mainly expounded this thesis’significance, research methods and present situation. The first chapter is an overall narrative of the national opera Mulan Poem. The second chapter and the third chapter made an aesthetic analysis on this drama’s performing arts, and it analyzed and explored through the beauty of characterization and the beauty of vocal music singing in the performing arts. The beauty of characterization includes the characters’inner beauty, physical beauty and dressing beauty. The beauty of vocal music singing includes the tone quality beauty, sound beauty, emotion beauty and singing beauty of vocal singing. The last part is the conclusion. Through summarizing the above several chapters and combining with the development status of Chinese opera, it elaborated this opera’s influence from the angle of aesthetics and got an enlightenment.At present, there are many researches on opera Mulan Poem and opera aesthetics, but there are relatively few papers which made a research on the performing arts of Mulan Poem from the perspective of aesthetics. It discussed its artistic aesthetic feeling from two aspects of performing arts (characterization and vocal singing), and the author thinks combining Chinese national opera with music esthetics thought is more innovative and has a great research value.
