| As economy became more competitive in today’s society, how to balance family and work has become the focus of modern enterprises and employees concerned. Marriage as an important part of family life, its quality is essential to employee performance in the workplace. Compared to the the Western, Oriental marriage-work relations worth more exploring and excavation. Chinese people introverted and reserved, believing in Confucian culture and focusing on family values, to discuss marital quality on employee performance in the Chinese context is more research value. Therefore, we will explore the mechanism between Marital Satisfaction and Work Performance of employees involving other related variables such as Organizational Identification, Self-efficacy and so on. Specific studies are as follows:The First Study expanded to 287questionnaires,223 valid questionnaires were recovered, subjects were from East China, North China, Northeast China and other regions. Through the data correlation analysis, we determined the relationships among Marital Satisfaction, Job Performance and Organizational Identification;The Second Study used a structured questionnaire method, adding variables as Subjective Well-being, Self-Efficacy and Work Meaningfulness, to further exam the relationship between Marital Satisfaction and Job Performance, Organizational Identification. We tested 223 married gays in Beijing, Suzhou, Wuxi, Qinhuangdao and other parts and analyzed correlation test, hierarchical regression analysis with the SPSS to explore the mechanism and finally come to the following conclusions:(1) The relationship between marital satisfaction and performance is interfered by the gender factor. After controlling of gender, Marital Satisfaction, Contextual Performance and Job Performance shows a significant positive correlation;(2) It is fundamentally different between male and female Marital Satisfaction -Work Performance mechanism;(3) For the female employees, Marital Satisfaction had a positive relationship with Task Performance, Work Performance and Organizational Identification respectively, and Self Well-being, Self-efficacy mediated the process. Work Meaningfulness participated as a positive moderated variable in this mechanism;(4) For the male employees, Marital Satisfaction had a negative relationship with Task Performance and Organizational Identification respectively. Self-efficacy mediated the process and Work Meaningfulness participated as a positive moderated variable in this mechanism. |
