Of course, the purpose prevented such crises, but it did not really resolved so if appeared matrimonial proceedings, this kind of writing format could play its role to enhance the timeliness of the decision. This suggested that the Marriage System in the Yuan Dynasty had more specific and refinement requirements. On the other hand, it clearly defined rules for divorce and remarriage in the Yuan Dynasty. The reason for divorce also inherited traditional contents of the Central Plains in many ways. Divorce papers of the Yuan Dynasty had been very close to the modern society’s divorce agreement. The Yuan government encouraged remarriage, which reflected in the prevailing production conditions and social background, and the rulers’ different attitudes. The purpose of such policies was on guarantee the stability of marriage, and committed maintaining social stability.
