Art Features Hoche Folk Songs And Their Analysis

Boasting of its time-honored history and culture, Hezhe nationality has its own language that does not possess a writing system and belongs to Manchu-Tungusic Branch, Altaic language. Hezhe people has lived and worked along Heilongjiang river, Songhua river and the Wusuli river for a long time and depended on fishing and hunting, during which they have created a colorful culture and art, and enriched national culture and art treasury from mouth to mouth through generations.My hometown lies in Heilongjiang. Due to geographical proximity, I have got to known Hezhe folk songs for a prolonged time and cultivated a strong interest in its unsophisticated music style. Though a more profound understanding of Hezhe music to enrich my music knowledge, I hope my research on Hezhe music and its development can encourage more people to know the music so as to pass it down to the next generation.This paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, including research objective, significance, methodology and the current research situation. The second chapter introduces the historical culture and customs of Hezhe nationality, laying a foundation for song analysis to come. The third chapter detailedly analyzes Hezhe folk music and original songs from the aspects of rhythm and beat, melody, lyric characteristics and song category. Based on the previous three chapters, the fourth chapter compares and analyzes Hezhe folk songs and original songs to discover their distinctions and connections. The last chapter firstly elaborates the current development conditions of Hezhe music and points out its inheritance importance and the obligations we shoulder.During the process of composing this paper and deliberately analyzing the Hezhe culture and music culture, I have enriched my music knowledge and absorb this simple and natural singing method to break the shackle of “methods” and sing with “heart”, which contributes to my future vocal music learning. Besides, I present Hezhe music culture in front of more people via a deep exploration of its music and inspire more people to learn, spread and inherit it, thus carrying it forward in a new environment.
