The Stone Image Research Of Northern Song Dynasty

Fashion of appreciating stone prevailing in literati of Northern Song dynasty,while singing stone images are not uncommon,and creating numerous chapters. Stone images contain rich emotional and practical significance which is worthy of further exploration. In this paper, stone images of the Northern Song Dynasty poetry were classified to sum up the overall situation. we also summarizes the main features of various types of stone imagery,and analyze the reason of infatuating stones fashion soaring and its influence on the poetry creation. According to the function of the stone,the stone images of the Northern Song Dynasty poetry could divide into three major categories,including natural scenery, gardens architecture and Wenwan stone.Natural scenery stone images have pure natural and legendary history of these two types.The appreciation of the former is the natural beauty form of stone in nature,and the latter is more concerned about the deep implication hidden behind stone image.Rockery,rare stone and building stone three categories belongs to garden building stone images. Rockery and rare stone are landscape and scenery structure in garden,which purpose is to create a spirit of the natural landscape, while building stone image is more about symbolic means. Wenwan stone image have substantial content, for civilian desk crumble rocks, stationery, tea and wine vessels made of stone, stone pillow,stone seats and other daily utensils, as well as bamboo stone,stone dead wood, rocks and other images for literati painting class desk crumble stones used text to play supplies,this type of stone images directly on behalf of the literati stones fun, having closest relationship with the scholars.Through detailed analysis of the characteristics and significance of each type of stone imagery, this paper finally analyzes the literary fashion performed by stone images and the relationship between this kind of fashion and aesthetic pursuit of the Northern Song dynasty literati in the whole, and interprets the emotion on yearning natural landscape, Official and Hermit emotional conflicts contained in poetry of singing stone images,the standards and aesthetic pursuit that characterized by strange,thin, wrinkled embodied in poetry of singing stone images,and the breakthrough of Song Yong Shi poetry compared to the previous poetry Singing stone reflected in poetry of singing stone images. Then discusses the influence of the literary responsory between literati in appreciating stone activities to the emerging of large amount of Yong Shi poetry.
