With the establishment of modern literary theory curriculum, the update and development of it’s teaching materials has a nearly one hundred years history. In different patterns of literary theory teaching material, a batch of literature writer get involved in literary theory research and compiled into a set of literary theory teaching materials, enriched the whole outlook of the teaching materials of literary theory, and reflects the different voices. So this paper will focus on this kind of literary theory teaching materials, select the time of the May 4th new culture movement until the new century which are representative periods, with the literary theory teaching material of eight outstanding writers in the two most periods as the carrier, research and analysis the specific content of the teaching material and theoretical characteristics, summarize the achievements and potential shortcomings, in order to guide the development of literary theory teaching material and provide beneficial references.The paper consists of five parts: the introduction mainly explain the significance of topic selection, establish the research object of this paper, and summarize the research situation of this thesis; the first chapter is the development of the literary theory teaching material, set up a background for "writer type" literary theory teaching materia, and then analysis the special of such kind of textbooks; the second chapter, the breakthrough point is the most distinctive themes of literary teaching materials- "aesthetic", explains the specific theory view of the literary theory teaching material which written by Yu Dafu, Lao She, Ge Hongbing and so on, summarize the way and thinking mode of explaining this theme, and finally analysis the write structure of this theme, the third chapter specific to specific literary theory knowledge,analyzes the literary discourse of "writer type" literary theory teaching materials, The last chapter points out the positive impact of distinctive characteristics in this "write type" literary theory teaching material, and summarize that the literature theory textbook written by who, and which kind of patterns the literary theory teaching is more conducive to discipline development and more conducive to the spread of the literary theory knowledge.This paper analysis of its unique aesthetic subject and narrative discourse pattern through put this "writer type" literary theory teaching material in the corresponding age and academic background, summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of it, so as to better understand the development of the literary theory.
