The Study On Civilization Of Farmer Workers

Along with the accelerating progress of China’s urbanization, larger quantity and scale offarmer workers come into cities, becoming a special group in the shifting process of China’ssocial structure. Though China’s urbanization level surpassed50%in2011, considerablequantity of farmer workers is counted in the data. If people in this group cannot truly turn intourban residents, China’s urbanization level would drop remarkably.The core issue to implement urbanization strategy is to achieve population transfer fromrural areas to cities, and civilization of farmer workers is the most rapid, practical andconditional approach to divert rural population. Based on former scholars’ research, thisarticle gathers basic information from in-depth discussion to investigate relational problemsabout civilization of farmer workers. Idiographic conclusion is put forward after analysis anddebate: in one hand, civilization of farmer workers depends on institutional innovation,forming Long-term mechanism to advocate and boost urban settlement of farmer workers; inanother hand, civilization of farmer workers needs positive and active cultural span fromfarmer workers, being a real urban resident.
