With the progress of the society and the development of productive forces, a growingnumber of women in the world out of the family into the society. Since the middle of the20thcentury, women’s influence on the social aspects are increased gradually, many women in thedeveloped countries become national leaders, or as the top leader of large enterprises.Since the establishment of the new Chinese, especially the30years of reform andopening up, women’s social status in China continue to increase. The proportion of women incivil servants is much bigger, and there are a few women also become national leaders.Femalecivil servants play an increasingly important role in our country at all levels of governmentadministrative management activities.However, study on the female civil servants career development in China is still in theinitial stage,and there are many obstacles in career development of female civil servants inreality.Therefore,understanding the development situation of female civil servants careerdevelopment in our country and exploring the characteristics of female civil servants careerdevelopment have important theoretical and realistic significance for the promotion of femalecivil servants career development and the reasonable use of female civil servants.This article takes our country female civil servants career development as the researchobject, based on the theory of career development, combined with management science,sociology, psychology and other multi-disciplinary theory research results, discussed thecharacteristics of female civil servants’ career development in China, analyzing the obstacles ofthe career development of female civil servants and put forward the correspondingcountermeasures. The first part: the thesis writing background, significance, research methodsand related research literature review are introduced. The second part: mainly expounds thebasic concepts involved in the study, and theoretical basis of female civil servants careerdevelopment are introduced. The third part: the main achievement of female civil servantscareer development in our country and existing problems are summarized. The fourthpart: from the three aspects of system, social and individual level analyze the factorshindering the female civil servants career development in china. The fifth part: combining with the experience at home and abroad from three aspects: system, society and individuals,putforward countermeasures to promote the career development of female civil servants in ourcountry.
