Along with the modernization processof gradual, Tianjin social economic level unceasing enhancement, the urbanconstruction changes with each passing day. Especially in the "11th five-year plan"period, Tianjin government spent to use for urban infrastructure constructionincreased capital reached254billion Yuan. Along with the increase in the number ofmotor vehicles, traffic flow is characterized by increased dramatically, while Tianjinroad traffic construction in the development, but still for city traffic brings a lot ofpressure, make our city traffic management is faced with severe challenges.At home and abroad in order to draw lessons from the advanced experience ofother city traffic management, make the traffic management of Tianjin in the path ofsustainable development, must be in the future as the starting point, guide the recentdevelopment of services for the future development, properly handle the relationshipbetween the traffic resources and development, so as to achieve the coordinateddevelopment of social economic and social transportation. In this paper, on the basisof investigating the situation of traffic order in Tianjin, with traffic management as theresearch object, the present status of Tianjin city traffic management is elaborated, theachievements and existing problems. Through to the other cities at home and abroadexcellent traffic management experience for reference, traffic management in Tianjinopinion and the optimization scheme was put forward, so as to improve road trafficconditions, give full play to the road as the function of the urban transportation carrier.Through theoretical analysis and field survey data, this paper discusses themethods to improve traffic management in Tianjin.
