If we don’t know the way of language we use in this world, we won’t able to understand the world, more cannot live effectively. On the basis of creating meaning, our cognitive abilities are mostly comes from the language. As a very important part of international politics, language has played a very important role in shaping the global politics. Subjects, objects, race, gender, identity and their significance, and so on are constructed by language. They are not fixed and unchanged, they change with the society, history and context. At the same time this issue contains a actively endless interpretation process.To command the language is a kind of power. It is the war about the ability of defining, they constructed our reality tremendously. Its deeper significance lies in the whole of various actors’ discourse in the structure of today’s international system. Namely the issue is about how the language construct knowledge, how the language lead the generation of power.In order to study those issues above, we must take the discourse analysis with perspective of constructivism. It becomes the important weapon in analyzing international problems nowadays. The task of the discourse analysis is to get the meaning from the structure of text cage, attaches great importance to the construction of meaning, explanatory, social, historical, context, intertextuality and the practice of fight around the power.This paper consist of the following six parts:The first part is the introduction describing the sources of this article, research status in China and overseas, as well as the meaning and purpose of writing this paper. The second part is about the theory carding of language in early political thoughts. And in the perspective of multi-disciplinary to discover the related factor and concept involved in the international political analysis of language, especially focuses on theory combing the modern language constructivism and postmodernism. The third part will discuss the scope defined in the context of the international relations, focuses on five aspects of the issue:the right of speech, cultural imperialism, language securitization and the translation politic. The fourth part mainly introduces the research method as critical discourse analysis. That the rise,characteristics, principles and ideas will all be introduced briefly. The main of CDA are Halliday’s and Fairclough’s research paradigm. Part five will apply the method of CDA to the speech text of Hillary Clinton and President Obama.The last part is the epilogue summarizes of the paper, it summarizes the shortcoming and inadequacies existing in the research. And emphasize the necessity of the discourse as to the new international political and linguistic study in the future and to speed up the construction of discourse system with Chinese characteristics.
