At present, the world is in the era of the national state, and the nation is the basic element of the multiple nation state, and the political integration is an indispensable maintenance mechanism of the multiple nation state. Malaysia is a multiple ethnic, multiple cultural country, after gaining independence in formed the unique political form of authority, now the domestic and in the democratic transition period, the various social problems highlighted. Taking the ethnic politics as a thread, from the perspective of the political development process of Malaysia, the paper analyzes the specific relationship among the various variables of the political integration, and analyzes the trend of the political development in Malaysia, and discusses the path of the political integration of Malaysia in the democratic transition period.The first part: the related concepts and the realization mechanism and function of the integration of ethnic politics.Ethnic political integration is the process of consolidating and strengthening the national political union in the national political community. It is also the process of maintaining the unity and stability of the national political community. The mechanism of inter ethnic political integration includes the national system, the construction of the country, the authority of the party, the mechanism of the national policy, the mechanism of the ideology and the mechanism of the national education. Through the above mechanisms to achieve the function of the international political integration, to achieve a good political interaction between the ethnic groups, to suppress and eliminate the political separation of the nation, consolidate the legitimacy of the multiple ethnic state.The second part: the historical evolution of the ethnic composition and the political integration of the ethnic groups in Malaysia.Malaysia is a country which is famous for its multiple ethnic and multiple culture, the political development of Malaysia, and the process of democratization are closely linked with its national relationship. The proportion of population, geographical distribution, cultural belief, economic structure and political status all affect the political development direction of Malaysia. Mainly includes Malay privileges and the problems have not been substantive solutions, since the non Malays "cannot enjoy with Malay equal civil rights, economic policy violates" the non Malays "interests," non Malay ethnic culture also subjected to erosion and limit; in addition party nationalism, national economic disparities and multiple cultural makes Malaysia’s ethnic political integration process blocked.The fourth part: the countermeasure and measure of the integration of the Malaysia nationality in the period of democratic transition.The effect of the ethnic political integration is directly related to the unification and stability of Malaysia, and the effective integration of the ethnic groups can promote the political development and the democratic transition in Malaysia.
