Research objectives:In this study, improving the athletes’athletic ability is used as the starting point. We select outstanding men’s freestyle wrestling athletes as the research objects, and a four-week training is implemented. During this period of time, changes and laws in the quality movement characteristics of EPO, blood indexes, exercise capacity index, specific indicators of the objectives are precisely observed. What’s more, we explore and validate the main training point, influencing factors, training effect and the most suitable time for the appearance of the best effect of the training. Thus, a theoretical basis for the post-Hilo-related research and training is provided.Research methods:(1) The group study:Select14elite male wrestlers, and then randomly divide them into two groups-group Hilo and group Lolo, each of them consists of seven people. Thus, a controlled trail is conducted.(2)The experiment arrangement:the control group is trained regularly, while the experimental one has to live in the hypoxia laboratory with an oxygen concentrations of only14.7percent (an equivalent to an altitude if28800meters), the same temperature and humidity as the outdoor’s at Beijing University of Physical Education for nine to ten hours.(3)Test indicators:maximum oxygen uptake,3200m running, blood lactate, anaerobic power, and special athletic qualities etc are tested one day before the test, the first and the seventh day after the end of the test; the test of EPO and blood indexes (HB, RBC, etc.) is carried out one day before the test and the second, third and forth week of it.(4)Element analysis:Remav5.o element analysis is used to complete the data, thus the deeper part of problem is demonstrated.(5)Mathematical statistics:the experimental data acquired is input to SPSS13.0. Establish a database and pair the groups before and after treatment (alpha=0.05). Research results:In the second, third and forth weekend, EPO average of the Hilo group members on the basis of prior experiments showed a decreasing upward trend (6.6%,5.4%,3.0%), but the average level of EPO4th weekend and the one before the test have no significant difference.(p>0.05). At the second, third and forth weekend, EPO average of group Lolo members showed an increasing decline and no considerable difference is indicated.(2) In the forth weekend of the trail, the average level of Hb and Mcv of group Hilo’s athletes is slightly higher than the one before the experiment, while Hb average level of members in group Lolo is higher than that of the previous test with no significant difference.(p>0.05).(3)In one day after the experiment, the aerobic capacity indicators and the anaerobic capacity one on the basis of the special qualities of the experiment took place a certain degree of positive changes, though the discrepancy is not prominent. One week later, there were considerable differences (p<0.05or p<0.01) above target levels between the current index and the former one. It is embodied concretely in the data-5.9%and3.1%have been improved in3200m running; relative maximum power, relative average power, and the power decrease rate have been increased21.1%,5.7%, and-3.6%on the basis of the former experiment respectively. The average lactate levels(corresponding to three test intensity120w,180w and240w) decreases by4.0%,4.5%and10.4%on a trial basis; Each special quality index level (special strength, movement speed, and speed endurance) increases by5.1%,7.4%and7.9%respectively. Each index level of members in group Lolo has showed the same trend as the one in the control group. Nevertheless, compared with the previous set of experiments, no significant change was observed.(p>0.05).(4) It can be found in this study that the basic residential height of Hilo is in the range of2000to3000meters, and training is at an altitude of600meters. The living hours are of10to12hours per day.Research conclusions:The influence of the Hilo four weeks mode on wrestler’s EPO and erythroid index in not significant. The erythroid index of two groups’athletes picked up at the forth weekend, indicating that the bodies are in a recovery state, but it did not reach the significant levels.(2) Hilo4weeks mode has something to do with the aerobic capacity index, the anaerobic one, and the special quality indicators. However, there is no considerable discrepancy. One week after the experiment, compared with the one, the average level of each indicator changed in a large way, which indicates that the mode could contribute to the improvement of the anaerobic capacity.(3) Hilo four weeks mode effect is not obvious at the end of the training, which can be seen in about one week later. When the forth week is over, some indicators showed the recovery features, apparently, could not tell that it was in the beat condition. This indicates that, in the future, the athlete’s training and competition cycle arrangement should be handled properly, so that the best competitive state is adjusted. Meanwhile, it is high time that we considered various factors impacted on the Hilo four weeks training mode.
