Based on my own teaching practice and the present situation of Problem-InquiryTeaching Model in history at senior high school, this paper explores the basic operatingprocedures in order to solve the problem of history teaching and help students acquire theapproach to learning history, making students learn to learn as well as improving teachingefficiency.There are three parts included this paper. The first is to define “problem” and“Problem-Inquiry”, sorting out the basic characteristics of Problem-Inquiry teaching modeland its teaching procedures. The second is to survey and analyze the present situation ofProblem-Inquiry application, to clarify the feasibility and significance of applyingProblem-Inquiry teaching method at senior high school. The last part is to establish aprocess of Problem-Inquiry teaching and explore basic teaching procedures of it, especiallyto summarize the basic way and principle of how to use historic information, problemsituation and question chain design.The innovation of this study: Senior high school students are the object of thestudy. Based on the principle of the combing learning with doing, the paper definesthe Problem-Inquiry teaching model scientifically and summarizes the teachingprocedures of it.
